TEST SCORES ON TRANSCRIPTS: It is a violation of a student's right to privacy
for SAT, ACT, or PSAT scores to automatically be shown on a student's
transcript. If you wish for your scores to be seen on your transcript, you
will need to go to the Student Services Office to make a request for them to
be entered. Once scores are on the transcript, they will not be removed. If
you retest and new scores need to be entered, you will need to request for
the new scores to be added to your transcript. As with letters of
recommendation, you need to give the school a minimum of 5 days prior to the
day you wish for your transcript to be sent out for the scores to be
entered. If you are trying to meet a deadline, plan ahead. Do not ask for
scores to be entered on your transcript and mailing of the transcript on the
same day you request them. This will not be possible.
Both the ACT and SAT permit students to have 4 scores sent FREE to
colleges/universities. This list is determined at the time the student
registers for a test. If you choose not to have scores sent for free, you
will have to pay $9.00 for EACH ACT score sent to a college or $9.50 for EACH
SAT score report sent. Take advantage of the free reports. The ACT will
send a report of only the last test each time you release your scores. The
SAT will release a cumulative list of every time you have taken the test.
