Tutoring Programs
* The "CHANCE" tutoring program meets Tuesday evenings on Duke's East Campus.
* The "21st Century Learning Institute" through NC Central University is a
great opportunity for after-school tutoring. Students must be recommended by
their counselor and principal in order to participate.
* The Reconciliation United Methodist Church and the Lakewood UMC provide
free tutoring on Mondays from 5-7pm. They provide snacks, but
transportation is the parents'responsibility.
