Study Skills

Most people know that studying a little each day helps you retain knowledge

better than trying to study for hours right before the big test.

But did you also know that your environment makes a big difference in how

effective your studying is? Make sure you have adequate lighting and a neat

area. Gather the things you'll need--pencils, paper, dictionary, etc, before

you sit down to study.

And don't forget to include some creature comforts, such as water and mints--

whatever makes you feel at home will help you learn!

Remember, on CAREER MONDAYS, invest that special 10 minutes in checking out a

website such as www.cfnc.org, or call someone about a career of interest.

Just 10 minutes a week adds up to YOUR FULFILLING FUTURE!!!
