Dear Parents,
This is just a friendly reminder that our field trip to Raleigh is on
Monday, March 17th. Below you will find a list of reminders for the trip:
*Students should be at school by 6:30am. Please remember that you will need
to bring your child to school and be here to pick them up at 4:30pm. There
will be no early or late bus transportation.
*If your child will be picked up by someone other than you, send in a
written note to your child’s
teacher by Friday, March 14.
*Coolers will be provided for drinks only! Remember, there should be no
soft drinks per school policy.
*Don’t forget your child’s lunch! There is no place for your child to buy a
lunch. If your child signed up for a bag lunch from the cafeteria, your
teacher will have it.
*Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. We
will be walking a good distance. Tennis shoes are a must! The museums can
be cool, so a light jacket that your child can keep up with might be needed.
*No hand-held video games of any kind are allowed on the bus. Music players
(with headphones) are the only acceptable electronic devices allowed.
*Students may bring money for the museum gift shops. We will visit the
shops if time permits.
*WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST ITEMS. IT IS THE CHILD’S SOLE
RESPONSIBILITY!
