Use Your Senses!

We created flip books using our
five senses.

To create vivid descriptions,
students used sentence starters
to write stories about being in
the city or in a Baseball Stadium.

In order to help yourself
understand and remember new
information, you can use a
strategy called Visualization.

Students made winter
precipitation books. While
listening to descriptions of
precipitation, students used
chalk to draw what they
visualized.

Seeing the pictures in our minds
and drawing them on paper

We visualized-flurries, snow
showers, squalls, blowing snow,
a blizzard, sleet & freezing rain.

Using colored chalk was awesome!
