Writing Portfolios
Each child, grades K-5, will have a Writing Portfolio. A group of Literacy
Teachers worked on recommendations this summer. The students will have
several pieces of writing in their portfolio. A variety of writing styles
will be included. The styles are in accordance with the NCSCOS. Mrs. Seaman
and I were on the committee so feel free to ask us questions. The
Instructional Services Department will provide us with portfolios and
requirements.
