About The Teacher

I am excited to be teaching third grade this year!  This is my twelth year 
teaching.  I graduated from Campbell University in 1996 with a Bachelor's 
Degree in Elementary Education. I had previously taught at Alderman 
Elementary School from 1996-2002.  My previous name was Melinda Berg.  In 
2002, I became a National Board Certified Teacher. I came to Codington 
Elementary School in the Summer of 2002. My husband and I live at Carolina 
Beach with our two dogs, Gibson and Sailor.  We are excited that our little 
son is on the way.  He is due the end of March.  We'll keep you posted!
