Social Studies - Each Monday students will receive a social studies review
sheet. They will have to answer two questions each night. The
sheet is due on Friday.
Spelling - Each Monday your child will receive 20 new spelling words.
Students are assigned one spelling activity each night Monday
through Thursday. The assignments are listed along with the words. The
spelling packet is due on Friday.
Math - Students will have a math sheet with problems reviewing the previous
week's math work. The sheet is due on Friday.
Reading Challenge - Each night students will have a story, article, or poem to
read. There will be questions to answer after reading. This is due daily
Tuesday through Friday.
Reading Log - Students are expected to read for 20 minutes five times a
week. Five days are required even on short weeks. The log is due each
Monday. Students must be reading the same book at home and school until
they have met their AR goal for the quarter.
