How and where can I get information about the AIG program?
I will be glad to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to contact me by mail, phone, email, or come into the school in person. Your child's classroom teacher also knows about the AIG program. In addition you can also contact New Hanover County School's Coordinator of Gifted Education, Diane Flagler. What grade does formal gifted identification begin?
Formal identification begins in the third grade. New Hanover county requires standardized test scores for formal identification and the CogAT is administered at the beginning of a student's third grade school year.Back to Top
