About The Teacher

I am looking forward to meeting you when I return to the classroom in 
October. I am currently at home with my new and amazing baby, Peyton 
Elizabeth. I am married to the world's most wonderful husband, Mark 
Imperial, who teaches public adminstration courses at UNCW. We share our 
home with a cat, Stinkerbelle, and an overweight, but lovable, Shih Tzu,
Tucker.

This will be my 17th year working in the public schools. I have served 
mostly as a teacher, but spent a few years as an assistant principal in New 
Hanover County. I went to Meredith College for undergraduate work and have a 
Master of Education degree and a Master of School Administration degree from 
UNCW.
