Frequently Asked Questions: This page contains answers to common questions of students and parents.

  2. What about AR?
  3. Does my child have time to work on "homework" throughout the day?

Does the planner (agenda) need to be signed every day?

Yes, the agenda needs to be signed daily including Saturdays and Sundays.
When an adult signs the day, he or she is letting me know that he or she is
aware of the work and verifying that it is completed for the next day.

What about AR?

Again, my goal is to have your child enjoy the art of reading. Your child
does need to make the point value; however, my main concern is that he or
she read for accuracy (80% +). Your child is required to read both fiction
and non-fiction.

Does my child have time to work on "homework" throughout the day?

Yes. I encourage them to use their time wisely. If they complete an
assignment early, they can work on other work that is not completed, study
notes or vocabulary cards or read.
