Biography Projects

Students will conduct research, create a 5 paragraph paper, and present their
person of interest as a wax character in a museum.

In Math we have been learning about multiplication and division. Students need
to make sure they practice their facts each night. This will aid in their
quick recall and memory skills. Students are working toward building a sundae
by learning all their times tables through 9. In the Spring, we will have a
sundae party to celebrate our knowledge of multiplication! We will continue to
work on
these skills along with fractions and geometry. We will also work on
solving word problems similar to those found on EOGs.

Please continue reading each night with your child. Have your child summarize
what he/she read each night to you verbally. AR goals are already being met!
Thank you parents for working diligently on reminding your child to keep up
with his/her goal! :)

KUDOS CORNER

Kudos to ALL STUDENTS for working so hard this week! Also, students with 
perfect attendance and arriving on time get an extra pat on the back!!

REMINDERS

Please don't forget to sign your child's planner and reading log each 
evening. Keep track of your child's reading and AR tests.

Please make sure your child arrives on time at school and limits numbers of 
absences. It is difficult to make up time lost.

We are always in need of items to help us out in the classroom. These items
include tissues, glue sticks, classroom store items, etc. Thank you to those
who send these items in :)
