Was your child ABSENT?
Students need to do the following six steps for each of the core classes upon
returning to school:
1. Get the missed "warm-up":
Science & Social Studies: Copy the Table of Contents (T.O.C.) and the
Question of the Day (Q.O.D) missed.
Math: Copy T.O.C. and Warm-Up.
Language Arts: Write the full date and “ABSENT” for the Caught’Ya you missed.
2. Copy the homework from the agenda board in each classroom into your own
agenda.
3. LA, SS & SCI: Check the Master Notebook for the events and appropriate
handouts missed.
Math: Check the handout trays.
4. If a stamp was issued that day, get the homework stamped by the teacher.
5. Turn in the assignments that were collected while they were out.
6. Students should get a lunch pass from the teacher if they need:
* to make up a test or a quiz
* help on the new material you missed
* time to complete these steps
