ABSENT?

Make-up work is the student’s responsibility. You have 1 day for each day absent to make up work. (For extended absences, see the DRMS handbook) To get your work, you may check:

1. the web page for the calendar, newsletter, math syllabus and homework links
2. the weekly agenda in each classroom
3. the monthly team calendar in the hall
4. with a reliable friend or classmate’s agenda
5. with the teacher before/after school or during lunch… but NOT in the middle of class!

It is advantageous for parents to set a routine to check agendas daily for assignments.  THE STUDENT’S AGENDA SHOULD NEVER BE BLANK! If your child comes home with a blank agenda, s/he is choosing to sit and not copy the assignments during class. Please speak with your child.
