Wednesday, May 2: All OBX forms and final deposit due
Tues. Wed. & Thurs. (May 8, 9 and 10th) EOG's

 

                        

 

 

Study Island:  As we approach EOGs, please make sure your child is using Study Island each night as a part of the homework routine.  When we took the benchmark test we noticed that most students have not been using this resource.  If we all work together, we can make EWA a School of Excellence!  That means that we have to score 90% or better, Mrs. Hinton will finally get to wear her SpongeBob costume.

 

Raz-Kids:  We just purchased Raz-Kids again for $85.  Please use the books and comprehension quizzes as another wonderful resource.

 

Engrade:  Monitor Engrade for missing assignments.

Please check out our math page for math homework and other math happenings! Students should continue to complete Study Island assignments for homework each week. Thanks for helping your child with this at home.




Fluency:  Please make sure your child reads a self selected book each night for at least 20 minutes.  Don't forget Raz Kids and Study Island.  Students struggle with comprehension because they are not familiar with sustaining effort to read a longer passage.  Please make this a part of your nightly routine.

Websites:  We will be assigning most homework online to save paper and equip students with 21st century skills.  Please send a note if you are having trouble with any of the following websites:
