About The Teacher

I am entering my seventh year teaching in North Carolina!  I spent the first 
five years in Robeson County, teaching 5th, 6th, and 4th (3 years) grade. 
This will be my second year teaching fourth grade at Rachel Freeman School 
of Engineering.  I am excited about starting a new year.  I was fortunate 
last year to have a fantastic bunch of students, and anticipate a group who 
is as wonderful this coming school year.

This summer I have been very busy attending camps, trainings, workshops, and 
academies to make myself a better teacher for my students.  I was fortunate 
enough to teach at NC State University's Elementary Engineering Camp; teach  
Camp Invention at our school; and participate in Teacher Academy at 
Appalachian State University.  I am anxious to share what I've learned with 
my students!

I'm looking forward to an amazing year!
We're off to a great start, I can't wait to see all the great things we can 
accomplish together.
