About The Teacher

This is my seventh year of teaching at Rachel Freeman School of 
Engineering.  I 
am a 2001 graduate of Meredith College in Raleigh, NC.  My primary 
instrument 
is piano.  In addition to teaching music at Freeman, I am also the 
chairperson of our Positive Behavior Support program.  This program is very 
near and dear to my heart.  I also teach private piano 
lessons and play piano at my church.  In spare time I LOVE to travel, snow 
ski spend time with friends, and hike.  I have been happily married since 
2004 and have a dog named Gunner.

Mission for Music Class

My mission is to help all students problem solve, show respect, and be safe 
as the learn to love listening to, analyzing, and creating music.
