Hey Y'all!

 

Last year as we read To Kill a Mockingbird I came to the sad realization that many of our students don't even know what molasses is!  Of course, there are all sorts of other things that come up in that book that are truly "Southern."  Many (most?) of our students "ain't frum 'round the house, but frum up yonder."  So if I can get help from enough parents, I like to give the kids a day, or morning, in which they are introduced to collard greens and grits, among other things.  If you have ideas, or are interested in helping in any way, email me.  You can do so by clicking the icon in the upper right corner of the homepage.
