Early Childhood Education 1 and 2 Links


"The North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early 
Education is pleased to announce a list of approved curricula for 
use in early childhood and education programs. The list is the 
result of a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum review process 
conducted by a panel of experts."Any curriculum on this list, 
which includes the previously approved list of curricula from 
2008, can be used immediately for a quality point for the star 
rated license as well as in any NC Pre-Kindergarten classroom. In 
addition, the NC General Statutes requires an approved curriculum 
be used in all four and five star licensed facilities in 
classrooms with four-year-old children, beginning July 1, 2011. 
Other early childhood and education programs are encouraged to 
consider this list when making curriculum choices.

for Young Children (TACSEI) takes the research that shows which
