The library is always in need of volunteers to shelve books. Even 10 minutes before and after school can make a difference. Come help the children by checking in/out books, guiding them in locating appropriate A/R books, or making the books easier to find by shelving, shelving and then shelving some more books. See Mrs. Kadala to learn more about volunteering in the library.

Volunteering is vital to the success of our school and our PTA. There are volunteer opportunities both during and after school hours so everyone can do it.

Your child's teacher may need parents to help tutor children, especially in reading their A/R books and preparing for tests. Sometimes teachers need help with projects in the classroom. Some teachers, especially in the younger grades, are appreciative if you have a special skill or occupation that you’d like to share with the children. Call or write a note to your teacher to see how you can volunteer in the classroom.

Evening and Weekend Volunteer Opportunities are Fall Festival, Jelly Beans Skate Nights, McDonalds Nights, Bingo Night and helping with the maintenance of the school gardens. If you are unable to volunteer during school hours, these are FUN ways for you to be a part of the Gregory T.E.A.M. and a part of your child’s school life.

Please volunteer. No matter how much time and effort you put in, you are sending a message to your child that school is important and your child is worth it. All your Gregory School volunteer work will send positive waves out on the sea of our educational community farther then you can ever imagine.

Thank you so much for finding a way to be a part of our Gregory School T.E.A.M.

It is very important TO LOGIN YOUR VOLUNTEER TIME. SIGN IN AT THE FRONT OFFICE, if you volunteer doing things at home send the volunteer hrs to Angela Deaver at adeaver@nhcs.net

The county and state keep track of our total volunteer hours for the year (no individual names are used outside of our school). Our teachers and principal are proud of our volunteer participation. Make sure your volunteer time will count -- LOG it IN!
