Highcroft Drive Elementary Specialists



Dear Parents,

Welcome to Highcroft Drive Elementary School. We are excited to start this adventure with your
child. We would like to inform you about the expectations for your child in Art, Media, Music,
Physical Education, and Technology classes this year in school.

Our goal is to provide quality instruction in a positive, well-managed environment. To
accomplish this, Specialist have devised a set of classroom rules for their teaching area.
These rules include:

Full participation
Follow directions
Respect others
Respect equipment, materials, and instruments

Every effort will be made to encourage students to display the expected behaviors. However, if
students decide not to follow the stated rules, the following consequences will occur:

1. Verbal warning
2. Removal from activity
3. Contact parent
4. Refer to principal

These rules and consequences will be communicated to students at the beginning of the school
year. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns about your childs
participation. We look forward to teaching your child and having an outstanding year!
