About The Teacher

     Welcome!  I am so excited to be your child's teacher, in my fifth year 
teaching at Highcroft Drive Elementary.  This will be my seventh year 
teaching and living in North Carolina.  
     I grew up in the beautiful state of Maine and received my teaching 
degree from a college outside of Boston.  Growing up in New England and 
going to school outside of Boston, it is no surprise that I am a HUGE Red 
Sox fan!!!  In addition to watching my beloved Red Sox win games, (and on 
occasion losing games), I enjoy spending time with friends and family, 
traveling, music and talking on the phone with my young nephews, Nathan and 
Carter.  
      I look forward to working with you and your child, it is going to be a 
great year!
