We want the student to include the following components when telling the teacher about the story he/she read with little prompting and while including specific details and events:

1. Major Events in the Story

2. Main Characters

3. Setting (where and when it occurred if relevant)

4. Connection to the story's main idea

5. Main Problem and How it was Solved

6. Author's Message (what the characters learned)
