NewsFlash

Reminder: Tomorrow is the Wax Museum! We have P.E. at 9:50 so the students are to arrive in their regular school clothes and bring their costumes. They will be given time after P.E. to get  dressed as their Famous American.
Written reports that are typed and finished will be displayed with the model, mask or trading card during the Wax Museum. If a typed copy is not ready, the students have been asked to turn in a cover page and will display that with their rough draft.
We look forward to seeing you at 12:15 for the Parent Tour!!

The Wax Museum Parent Tour
will be from 12:15 to 12:45 on Friday, November 6th.
The students should be preparing their costume, 3-D model, mask or trading card for Friday morning. The rough drafts are nearing completion and will be coming home this week to be typed. I have encouraged the kids to save it on a flash drive so they can type it both at school and home to use all time wisely.

We will conduct our first Stamp Act Congress on Tuesday, November 3rd. Each faction (Loyalist, Patriot, and Neutralists) have answered the Crisis Questions and are discussing in class the proposals that will be voted on during Congress.
On Wednesday, November 4th the students will take a 10 question test on the Crisis Questions, Proposals, and the outcome of the Stamp Act Congress from Nov. 3rd. All materials should be located in each child's binder.
Students will be graded on his or her participation during debates as well as cooperation and respect for others.
It's fun to see the students'interest and excitement as they assume their given identity and prepare for next week's activity!
