About The Teacher
Hello! My name is Mrs. Brownfield, and I am thrilled to be your teacher. I am very excited about the 2009-2010 school year! I would like to tell you a little bit about myself, so that you can know me better. I was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. I love living in North Carolina, because I enjoy traveling to the mountains and the beaches. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, exercising, and spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy watching sports, especially basketball. I'm a big UNC fan, especially since I graduated from UNC-CH. I am very excited to begin my fourth year teaching fifth grade at Highcroft Drive Elementary. I enjoy teaching fifth grade because of the interesting curriculum, including US History and Ecosystems. Another great part about fifth grade is our field trip to Camp Don Lee. What a blast! Though the best part of fifth grade is the students.
