About The Teacher

Hello everyone!
My name is Lisa Drager and I am honored to introduce myself as your
child's 3rd grade teacher. I am truly excited for all the amazing adventures
your children and I are going to be having during this school year. I am
thrilled to be working at Highcroft Drive because of its superb teachers,
staff, and students.

As for a little about me, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Children's
Health Education from California State University, Chico. I also earned a
Master's degree in Child Development from San Diego State University. After
teaching Child Development classes at San Diego State University for a year,
I decided that teaching was my true calling and went back to school to get
my teaching credential in elementary education so I could work in the
classroom.

My husband James and I have 2 amazing children: Sophia, who is 8 and
Grayson, who is 4. Sophia is in third grade here at Highcroft and is in Mrs.
Demko's class. My family and I moved to North Carolina from California where
I taught for 5 years. We absolutely love North Carolina. Though moving
from California was a difficult choice, so far Cary and North Carolina have
been a very welcoming and beautiful place.

This will be a very exciting year in education and I am anticipating a
wonderful and successful year for all of us! It is truly important that we
work together as a team to ensure your child gains the most out of this
year. Always feel free to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or
compliments (those are always welcome!!!).

Thank you for your support,

Lisa Drager
