WCPSS Schoolwide Enrichment Model
This model provides a broad range of advanced level enrichment experiences focusing on students' abilities, interests, and learning style preferences, and allows for appropriate decision making in all curricular areas. Curriculum modifications and an expansion of the depth of learning enhance knowledge and thinking skills acquisition beyond the regular curriculum. Enrichment clusters emphasize the development of higher-order thinking skills and the creative and productive application of these skills to real-world situations. This model is effective at serving students in a variety of educational settings and in schools serving diverse ethnic and socioeconomic populations.
