Parents, we are well into our NASCAR Economics Unit in 5th grade. Student engine's are at full speed. They are involved as individuals and in their group setting. As always, many questions arise and many great answers are shared. Tracks 1 and 4 have teamed together to develop their portfolio and tracks 2 and 3 are not far behind. The race is on!
Fourth grade classes have been introduced to Hands-On-Equations and are starting to connect word problems with their pre-algebra lessons. Tracks 2, 3, & 4 will be taking their first quiz the week of September 14th.
I will keep you updated on our progress. If you have not provided a Writing Composition Notebook for your child (language arts only), please do so as soon as possible. I have shared all of my extra copies.
