About The Teacher
Philosophy: Ability may get you to the top, but it takes character to keep you there. I grew up in the small town of Edenton, NC. All during my school career, I was involved in after school activities and sports so I value my students in all of their extracurricular activities. These activities make a well-rounded student and person. After graduating college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I began teaching in Wake County. This is my eighth year of teaching. I have taught one year of third, three years of fourth grade, and three years of fifth grade. I currently live in Cary and enjoy spending my free time playing lots and lots of tennis on various teams and tournaments on the weekends. I value strong communication so throughout the year, should anything arise, please contact me as soon as possible to solve any problems before they have a chance to escalate. I anticipate on having an awesome year!!
