I have lived in North Carolina for five years and I really enjoy the area.
This is my fifth year teaching at Highcroft Drive Elementary school( I
started in the middle of the year:)). It is also my 26th year of teaching.
I live in the Cary area with my husband and daughter, Jade. My oldest son
Buck recently returned from Armenia after serving a mission for our church
and is now back in school. Our son Ben is living in Utah working and going to
college. My daughter is a senior this year at
Athens Drive High School. Our family loves to go boating,
hiking, river rafting and camping. I also enjoy reading a good mystery!
My mission for my class is to create a positive learning atmosphere in my
classroom that promotes growth and self-confidence. I want my students to
understand that they can achieve goals in third grade that will make them
better readers and better problem solvers. I also want them to develop a love
for all subject areas and a real thirst for learning.
