Fundraising During Your Daily Errands

Dear Highcroft Families,

I wanted to share with you a few opportunities for fundraising that go on throughout the school year.  Highcroft is very fortunate to have many partners in the community that provide fundraising opportunities.  Many of the opportunities generate funds for the PTA through our daily errands/purchases and require very little effort.  As you may know, the funds generated from these activities provide teachers and students with enriching programs and crucial resources that support a stronger learning environment.  Thank you for helping to support our Huskies.   

Box Tops 4 Education Labels –Look for the stamp-sized Box Tops 4 Education labels on many of your favorite brands and products such as Ziploc, Kleenex, Huggies, Cottonelle, Scott, Saran, Viva, Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, General Mills cereals and snacks, Pop Secret, Old El Paso and Bisquick.  Each label is worth 10 cents to our school!  This can really add up if we all take just a few minutes to clip and collect these labels.  

There is a pink Box Tops 4 Education collection bin near the main entrance of the school.  

Spirit Night- Throughout the school year certain restaurants in our area donate a small portion of the HDE families meals proceeds to the PTA. 

Kroger – Link your frequent shopper card to Highcroft, and we can earn points to redeem for supplies like die cuts! www.shoppercredit.com/Kroger.          

Target – Link your Target VISA card to Highcroft, and Target will donate 1% of Target purchases ad ½% of all other purchases made with your card back to Highcroft! www.target.com/tcoe

Tyson A+ Labels – Clip and collect these labels that are worth $.24 each for our school!  These labels are found on all Tyson’s frozen items.

Campbell’s Labels for Education – Collect and send in these labels, and Highcroft earns points that can be redeemed for needed supplies!

Hurricanes Ticket Purchases- In the fall, Harris Teeter will partner with the Carolina Hurricanes to offer discount hockey tickets and donates a portion of each ticket sale back to Highcroft.

Harris Teeter Together in Education - Link your VIC card to Highcroft, and Harris Teeter will donate a percentage of your shopping bill to our huskies!  Complete the form in below and return it to the school and we will link it for you!!  Another option is, at your next visit to Harris Teeter, simply ask the cashier to link your card to Highcroft Drive Elementary School, ID #5620.  You can also go online after August 1^st to link your Vic card at http://harristeeter.com/community/together in education/link to your school.aspx .  If you have linked your card in the past, you must RELINK IT after August 1, for the 2009-2010 school year OR just fill out the form and we will take care of it for you!!!
