Lighthouse Projects: Will be on display in the classroom this week and in the library next week, hopefully. Students can take them home Nov. 20th or before that, if they wish.

Lunch Bunch is in effect: Eat outside with Mrs. Tyus every Friday if you have completed your homework every night, have no #1's (respect) and no more than 3 numbers in a week.
Getting ready for Track out: students, please bring in a paper bag to take home the contents of your desk:)
What's New?
Math-Unit 5
Science- Rocks and Minerals Unit begins Monday, Oct. 26th until Track out. Watch for a study guide coming home with sample questions on Monday. Please have your child discuss what investigations he or she has done and why they did them/what they found out. Using the notes in their journals and the study guide would be a great way to prepare for our test (probably Thursday, 11/19).
Reading-Context Clues and Inferring/Drawing conclusions using our novels.
Writing- Mr. Peacock, our writer in residence, came last week and helped us write personal narratives. These will be coming home next week!
