I am so excited to share this year with you!! Here's a little about me. I
grew up in Monroe, NC and attended college at NC State (GO PACK!!) and
Meredith College. I loved the Raleigh area so much, I decided to stay
permanently. I did my student teaching at Vandora Springs Elementary in the
5th grade. I began teaching 3rd grade at Holly Springs Elementary in January
1997. Throughout many changes, I have remained. Holly Springs is home to me
and like family. Most importantly, teaching is what I LOVE to do and I look
forward to us learning together.
I look forward to sharing this year together as we learn more about one
another. :-)
My mission for all students is to guide and develop them into responsible,
life-long learners. Our goals are to: value our own self and those in our
lives, respect ourselves and others, set specific goals and act in reaching
them, encourage one another, have fun, never give up, and always be the best
we can be!! :-)
