The Tzfarde’im continues to be an active bunch, so we focused on several new
movement activities this week. We love the new song ‘Glad to See You,’ as a
new way to greet our friends at circle time. The children follow the
movements in the song, then make up their own after the song ends. We also
did a lot of jumping to ‘Jumpin’ Josie’ and danced with scarves. Our art
activities this week included collages, chalk, and do-a-dots. Finally, we
sharpened our minds with several matching games: matching two halves of the
same photograph, numbered ducks to their corresponding puddles, and animal
skins to the animals.
