Can we go to the bathroom during class?

I give each student (4) bathroom passes per nine weeks. If you
need to get something from your locker
(etc...), you will need to use a bathroom pass.

Yes.

Can we have cell phones in class if it is put away?

Yes. However, in addition to your cell phones staying hidden in
your purses and book bags, it will
need to be silenced during class. No texting or playing
gameswill be allowed.

Can we eat in class?

No. Water is fine. Gum is annoying. I understand that we may
become extremely ravenous during
class, but as a teacher I must follow the school rules, too. I
have learned that high school students
are very resourceful and inventive. You can figure out a way to
get your snacks eaten without doing
so in the middle of class.

Are we ever going to go outside?

Yes. It is necessary. If our outside trips become unproductive,
we will no longer go outside.
