Currently teaching three (3) courses of Ceramics, Mr. Boyd has been at Laney
High School for over sixteen years. He is the Chairman of the Arts
Department, member of the Technology Team and serves as the faculty advisor
to the SURF CLUB.
Alan M. Boyd is a member of the National Art Education Association, the
Louise Wells Cameron Art Museum, the North Carolina Art Education
Association, the Sierra Club, Stanford University Alumni Association, the
University of California at Santa Barbara Alumni Association, the Cape Fear
Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation, and the Wrightsville Beach Longboard
Association.
