Policies and Expectations:

 

1)      Write all essays/compositions in blue or black ink WITH NO WRITING ON THE BACK. When typing double space throughout using New Times Roman 12 pt font!

 

2)      Wear your ID at all times during class.

 

3)      Raise your hand before speaking or leaving your seat.  Meaning do NOT leave your seat without permission.

 

4)      Please be in your seat and ready to work when the bell rings.  I DO count and keep up with tardies. Yes, it’s a pain- but so is starting a lesson over 50 times for latecomers.

1^st Tardy—warning                        3^rd Tardy—30 minute detention & call home

2^nd Tardy—warning                       4^th Tardy—referral to Dean’s office

 

5)      Please do not bring food or drink into the classroom. I’m sorry to say that this room is not intended as an all-you-can-eat buffet, so please snack before or after class.

 

6)      Please make sure to take care of all personal “grooming” before coming to class. This includes putting on lipstick, brushing your hair, checking out your reflection in a mirror, etc.

 

7)      No putting your head down while I’m teaching! It’s rude, even if you are awake!

(I promise not to put my head down while you are talking, okay?)

 

8)      Now this next one is a toughie: NO CELLPHONES, IPODS, CD-players, Gameboys, etc… ARE ALLOWED IN MY CLASSROOM!! If I see it I WILL take it so please keep them turned off and out of sight.
