I urge you and your child to use this website to your advantage. Although I do not post minor homework assignments, please check this website frequently to find out important information. I post the dates progress reports are issued, upcoming major due dates (tests, projects, essays), and expectations for major projects and essays once they are assigned. English is my favorite subject and I bring my love and enthusiasm for literature and grammar to my classroom everyday! Please, urge your child to come to class with an open mind. I realize that not everyone shares my enthusiasm for this subject, but all I ask is that each student who enters my door is prepared to learn. Remember, passing English I and its state exam are required for your child to graduate high school in North Carolina.
