I teach all English III courses at Laney and I have taught AP English for
the past three years. The 2008-2009 school year will be my seventh year
teaching, all of which have been at Laney. I am a native Wilmingtonian, but
I was a Viking-it wasn't my fault, that was the district I grew up in! My
favorite parts about English are reading and discussing, and my least
favorite part about it is writing research paper (and poetry). Research
papers are necessary evils though, so I still write them myself (I just got
my Master's from UNCW in 2008)and I also still assign them to every single
one of my students.
