U. S. HISTORY PROJECT-1ST NINE WEEKS 1. Design a booklet which illustrates and explains an important person, or event, in U.S. history from 1789 through 1900 for each letter of the alphabet. Example: A for John Adams, John Adams was a leader of the revolution, our first vice president of the United States, served one term as our second President, kept us out of war with France despite the XYZ affair, passed the Alien and Sedition Acts which hurt his reelection campaign. 2. Create a timeline for the following events. Be sure to use specific dates when appropriate and eras when appropriate. For example, Mr. Adams(1967-present). Mr. Adams’ Birthday-April 15, 1967.
