Tis year I will be teaching level Three, Four and Five for Honors Spanish. These are all
advanced classes. In order to reach the advanced level for all levels I will start with a
comprehensive review of levels one and two ( and level three for the upper levels). This is
a very fast pace review and students must study their notes every day. There will be quizzes
and tests on these topics, (announced and/or not announced). Students will complete a calendar
with daily activities. If you need to check on what we are doing or what your child needs to
study, please ask for their daily calendars. You may also e-mail me any time. I check my e-mail
often and I do respond accordingly.
These are some of the topics we will be reviewing:
Definite and indefinite articles
Gender and number of nouns
Adjectives: Vocabulary /masc./fem./position of adjectives
Adverbs
Regular/irregular verbs/ present/preterite/imperfect/future and conditional
Reflexive verbs/ stem changing verbs/ reciprocal verbs/ verb gustar and others
We will practice conversation/ listening/speaking and writing skills everyday.
We will watch the news and weather in spanish and discuss the topics.
Please, remember that students will be accountable on tests only for what I review
so, please do not get scared. We will work together on all these topics.
