Dear Parent / Guardian,

If you have an email address, please provide me with that address so we can use it as a means of communication between parent and teacher.
You can email me at my Laney High email account (DWILLIAM@nhcs.net). There will be times when I want to share general information with all
of my students parents, and email is a quick and efficient way to communicate with a large group of people.

Also, as a reminder, my official tutoring day is every Thursday afternoon from 3:40 4:30. If
Thursdays are not convenient for your child, please contact me so we can schedule an alternative
tutoring time. I am a full believer in tutoring and the good it can do to help students better
learn and retain information. Since my English I students are all required to pass the state
English I EOC before they can graduate, every little bit of extra instructional time can prove
beneficial. Encourage your child to stay after school as often as possible to receive tutoring,
and please always feel free to contact me if you want to verify whether or not your child is
indeed staying after school with me for tutoring.
