Love it or hate it, writing is an essential skill because it is a form of
communication. Most any job requires some form of writing, whether it be
filling out an application, preparing a speech, or documenting information for
a business report. There are four basic types of writing: descriptive,
persuasive, creative, and expository/informational. Like anything in life, the
more you practice something, the better you will get. Practice writing a
little everyday, and you may amaze even yourself.
