Ms. Zenner, do you like country music?

Yes. However, I like all kinds of other music too. I only own one country
music CD. People think that since I am from Texas, I only like country
music.

YES!

Do you give extra credit?

NO! There is no need for extra credit. I give students plenty of
opportunity throughout the entire semester to get ahead or get caught up. I
provide many "bonus" opportunities and "bonus" points on an ongoing basis,
so take advantage of them!

Is this for a grade?

It doesn't matter. Students should take pride in all the work they do
whether it is for a grade or not. Learning should be for the sake of
learning and practice is the only way to learn math. You cannot learn math
by watching me work out problems on the board!

Can I use pen?

NO....unless you NEVER make a mistake. Turning in work that is done in pen
is one of my biggest pet peves. It is often very messy and hard to read. I
have buckets full of pencils that I am more than happy to loan students.

What is the _____________ formula?

Look it up. There are certain formulas that students must know. Most of
these formulas are considered common knowledge and students have been using
them since middle school. If the student takes the time themselves to look
up and write down a formula everytime, then before long it will be second
nature to them.
