I grew up in Austin, Tx. I received my bachelors degree from the University
of Texas at Austin. Hook em' Horns! I received a Master's Degree in
Secondary Mathematics Education from East Carolina University. I recently
moved here from Tarboro, NC. I became a National Board Candidate last year
and am eagerly awaiting the results.
In addition to teaching at Laney High School, I am an instructor at Cape
Fear Community College. I teach Pre-Calculus in the evening.
I have a beautifull 9-year old daughter, named Bethany. She is in the
fourth grade. We have a cocker spaniel named Tember and two Kitties, Chino
and Jacob.
In my spare time I enjoy running, swimming,playing tennis,golfing, going to
the beach and going to the YMCA!
My favorite color is blue and I love Mexican Food.
