I am a middle school teacher with certification in mathematics and
science. I hold a masters in online instruction, a masters in curriculum
design and am currently finishing my masters in business with a
concentration in accounting.
I have lived in Carteret County for over 30 years, love the
beach, outdoors, swimming and especially anything to do with math!
I taught my first 9 years in Craven County where I was allowed the privilege
of setting up a math department that serves all three grade levels and
focuses on the areas that students need to be successful. I am continuing
that focus here in Carteret County.
The MathBlast class, with guidance from Mrs. Coble, will provide an
environment for students to learn basic math skills, enhance specific
curriculum relative to their math goals and provide new study skills so they
may be more successful in mathematics.
The students in this environment will use the time they have to improve
their own skills and become better learners in a math environment.
