About The Teacher

I was born in Commerce, Georgia.  I am of Native American and Irish descent.  
My dad was a marine so I was a "military brat".  That means I have been in 
many different schools in 35 different states but I have never been over 
seas.  I graduated from high school in 1971 from Jacksonville Senior High but 
I also attended Beaufort High School in Beaufort, South Carolina for my 
sophomore and junior years.  I attended East Carolina University.  I 
graduated in 1975.  I have been teaching for 20 years in North Carolina but 
took a ten year break to have and raise my own children.  Most of those 20 
years have been spent teaching computer technology for students and 
educators.  I also have an art degree.  I love painting (with acrylics), 
music, reading fiction, watching movies, crafting and the beach.  Nothing is 
better than laughing and enjoying other people's company.  I learn from 
everyone.  Even if it means learning to not be like them.;-D

Mission For All Classes

The mission for all classes is to learn the computer curriculum and to do 
your personal best in every situation.  "If you shoot for the moon, even if 
you miss, you'll be among the stars."
