Preparing for the NC Online Test of Computer Skills
Every year, since 1992, all North Carolina 8th grade students have
taken the NC Test of Computer Skills. Since 2005 the test has been
administered online. Passing the test is a requirement for a high school
diploma.
If you don't pass the test, at some point, you cannot get a diploma. Not so
good if you want a job where they require that you have one. So, it only
makes sense to do it now, then you can concentrate on other good stuff like
the Senior Prom and Graduation!
Teachers across the state (and even some from other states) have created
websites and activities to help students succeed at Computer Skills so I
have borrowed from those and listed them here to help you. Practice,
practice, practice makes perfect!!!
