About The Teacher

Mrs. Campbell is originally from a small town near Pittsburgh, PA. She is a 
big Pittsburgh Steeler Fan!! She graduated from Slippery Rock University in 
PA. She moved to Maryland where she taught in Montgomery County for four 
years. She headed south and moved to Raleigh. She then taught in the Chapel 
Hill-Carrboro School system for 5 years. During that time she married her 
husband Richard and had her first child. After commuting from Raleigh to 
Chapel Hill for five years, prior to the the 540 days, she decided to work 
for WCPSS. She worked at Pleasant Union Elementary in North Raleigh for 11 
years as an IRT and AG Resource Teacher.During that time she had her second 
child and finished her certification in gifted education. She is certified 
to teach grades K-6. 
Mrs. Campbell has taught 3-5 graders. She has been both a resource and 
classroom teacher. She has just completed her 24th year in education.
She lives in Wake Forest. She loves to spend time with her family and 
friends! She enjoys reading, gardening, and relaxing by the pool.
This will be Mrs. Campbell's fifth year as a third grade teacher at North 
Forest Pines ES! Go Falcons!!!!
