Dear Parents,
CogAt testing is over!!! Score reports will not be available until mid-
February. If you have any questions about AG testing, please contact Mrs.
Kristen Argent or Mrs. Tina Gidley. The ITBS(Iowa Test of Basic Skills)will
be administered after the score reports have been received. I will provide
updates as I receive them.
I am in the process of obtaining my National Boards certification.
Obtaining certification is a three year process. This coming year, will be
my third year working on this certification. In your child's Monday folder
you will find a release form (Student Release Form) giving me permission to
video tape your child during lessons, as well as, gather student work samples
to submit with my entries. Please complete the form and send it back to me
before we track out. If you do not wish me to video tape or use your child's
work samples during this process, please state "No" on the form, sign it and
return it to me. I appreciate your assistance with this matter. If you are
a parent volunteer in my classroom, I will be sending you an additional form
(Adult Release Form) to read, sign and return to me.
Track out packets for 2nd quarter objectives will be available on
Wednesday. If you would like your child to have one please email me or send
me a note in your child's agenda. If you are going out of town and won't be
here on Wednesday, please let me know. I'd like to be able to send home a
track out packet and report card before the Thanksgiving holiday. All
requested track out packets will be sent home with students' report cards.
I would like to wish each and every one of you a very Happy Thanksgiving
and Christmas holiday season. May you enjoy this special time of giving with
those you love and hold dear to your hearts.
